I got a bottle of amyl brand amyl in the 30ml aluminium bottle and it is terrible, had a reasonably strong smell, within 30 minutes and a few huffs during the 30 mins I felt disorientated, nautious, had no sexual effects at all and after 30 minutes I had a splitting headache then proceeded to sleep restlessly for the next 8 hours and took 3 lots of 3 ibuprofen during these 8 hours to get rid of the headache, never again....stuff is utterly vile

The AMYL Aluminium / AMYL Pocket appears to be the exact same brand on both websites, but different formula information is given on each website.

Composition : Isoamyl / 1-Butanol 3-Methyl -- CAS : CAS 110-46-3 / CAS 123-51-3

However, on this website -- https://regulationpoppers.co.uk/products/amyl-pocket-30ml?variant=47451182104860 -- they show the formula as:

Amyl Nitrite (CAS 463-04-7)

That being said, I believe the actual manufacturer formula is the first one:

Unfortunately, this type of lazy description / misrepresentation / unclear information / misinformation is now rampant in the poppers vendors world. And, unless a consumer is buying a product directly from the actual manufacturer of the product, it's really anyone's guess what the consumer is going to be receiving. Consumers nowadays absolutely need to conduct due dilligence when purchasing poppers.

Personally-speaking, I have never bought this AMYL Aluminium / AMYL Pocket product before and would never buy it in the future.

I could have posted 3-4 other websites and they'd all have different formula info, or no info at all, regarding this AMYL brand. And I'm just talking about this one AMYL brand.

When one starts looking into the more popular name brands such as Rush and Jungle Juice, it's 100% open season for naive unsuspecting poppers customers who believe that simply buying the same brand name from different vendors means that they're gonna get the exact same formula each time.

Point being, which is completely lost on simpleton posters like Poon, is that, more than ever before, due dilligence is needed when buying from run-of-the-mill vendors, and not from the authentic product manufacturers/distributors. At the very least, do some research before buying from a vendor.

All that to say, regarding buying poppers nowadays, it is 100% buyer-beware.

My experience is somewhat opposite though for this Amyl Metal and it's quite weird and great experience, it's also my very first popper ever.
I've abused it on my first month of use. I do long hours of a-play (specifically at least an hour up to 8 hour of session) and now know my limits and know I had been using it too much.

My first sniff was not great and felt like I was in panic and couldn't focus, something in my lungs (maybe heart?) felt painful during the first sniff which lasted long! (maybe there was too much nitrites present) I probably had some kind of lung or heart clot before and the very first sniff may have fixed it for me (and it never happened again), felt refreshed after the initial sniff like it opened up my lungs and circulation. After I'd calmed and collected myself, readied my toys and my popper videos pure bliss followed (the videos did help calm me since the new feeling is still unfamiliar) - Second inhale, it was just right. I don't even open the bottle completely but just unscrew the cap several twists with the cap still in place and then inhale from the sides. It is quite potent, the initial effect after inhale is nothing (later this changed) only until I exhale is when my face feels warm, somewhat stringent and spicy which the closest feeling I can is compare is like "wasabi" and numbing. The popper video was https://hypnotube.com/video/ass-pussy-hero-1-popper-edit-69873.html and clearly I am doing it wrong and having too much sniffs (20x in vid over 6 and half minutes), so I cut it down only to the only left/right nostril sniffs (8x) later (since session lats up to hours) and later only 4 or 2 sniffs over 6 mins since my popper sensitivity somehow increased? My initial sniffs right now make my heart pound fast immediately and feel its effects on my sphincter in seconds. The next days of using poppers I went all out and then had deeper sniffs with fully uncapped popper and weirder training videos and this is where it went wrong, I did it too much, along with my hours of use/anal and that's when I got headache which goes away with different position (headaches never happened again after moderate and spaced use). Then I went hard on it again and this time I had this weird visual effects where everything is greenish and delayed and when I blink my eyes I get about a second or half of afterimgage! then my nails started to be slightly blue (mine is usually reddish so it's obvious) though it is temporary and due to too less air. Also now learned that when I am going so hard with sniffs my body responds by making my lungs produce mucus which blocks the poppers but I could cheat this by inhaling my exhales or making micro exhales but not good idea and taking a few days break made it back to normal.

Then I had somewhat of a respiratory problem I caught and seasonal allergy along with pollution in my area (lung issues not from poppers) which made my experience somewhat worse, I guess I should lay off on poppers for a while until my rhinitis/bronchitis goes away.

Things I've learned: I get a green blob at the center of my vision and it goes away usually and my one time extreme use made my entire vision go green and trippy but it's all temporary and gone in few minutes. Blob usually looks like heart shape or gaping hole and goes away in 30sec to a minute or more - another visual thing is vision gets blurry but only after too much inhales, it goes away along with the reduced blood pressure possibly from too much popper use - only happens when I start producing mucus and vision 100% recovers to normal after. I guess it was lowered blood pressure causing it.
Too much sniffs when having repsiratory issues lead to asthma-like symptoms later which some may attribute to dangerous effects (may cause anxiety but I'm immune to anxiety from shortness of breath I think and can clear my lungs fine). Subsequent sniffs without air also leads to bluing which goes away - clearly I've been depriving myself of oxygen when I do these extreme vids which I used to follow devotedly not having breaks. Headaches happen during very long and frequent sniffs and sessions (one time I did 6 hours). Visual problems occur after almost-daily heavy use but is reversible, like desaturated colors which goes away after having anti-inflammatory diet and vitamin B1/B6/B12 or not abusing it.

I noticed my popper had this foil thing stuck on cap which I didn't know was there since I'd only been sniffing from the slightly uncapped popper, at some point after using uncapped poppers I noticed something odd with the cap liner as it came off, there's what seemed like salty glue material between the safety cap and the liner which I had to scrape off, it's like salty and sticky? I think it must have been the glue used so the liner on safety cap doesn't come off easily but I think it may have been the thing that causes problem for maybe poppers these days? Tried to remove the same liner in the safety cap from a different product (a mouthwash) and it did have solid glue, I think my poppers corroded that glue and it may have slightly contaminated it...? Also lastly, after using the popper for quite some time it became more potent somehow. I'm thinking water bottle method isn't great since the aluminum is more superior and I get coughs when I inhale stale poppers leaking from few days old bottle+cotton (which I guess forms NO2?).
