Taking Poppers to Gran Canaria

Hello!

We're off to GC in August. Last year we didn't take our poppers as we read all the info about them being banned in Spain and not allowed on flights.

But people in the resort had packed them in their toiletry bag with no issue. (I'm wondering if they removed the wrappers)

What are people's experiences? I don't think you can buy them in GC and I'd be dubious over the quality.

You choice then....break the ban, because neither national, nor aviation, rules apply to you....or follow the rules and enjoy a peaceful poppers-free vacation. Your choice, and you know that already. What you are after is for some dickhead to confirm it's OK, to validate what is obviously a bad idea.

A couple of years ago my bag was searched because of the poppers on there. They just told me to put it in a clear bag and that was it. Going to Spain.

Never had a problem packing them in the check in baggage. Impossible to get here I have looked in many places!

Well I always fetch poppers to Gran Canaria. I do take the rappers off because they do have toxin labels on them. However you will also notice there is an imprint of the toxic label on the bottle. Don’t let this alarm you pop them in with your ass to shaves in to your wash bag and you should be fine. I’ve never had a problem. This year and I’m talking about coming to Gran Canaria for many years. A friend of mine has been randomly searched entering the Yambo centre. Lucky for him he didn’t have any on him on anything else. I do and wasn’t searched. I understand the Penalty could be 24 hours detention, and up to €1000 fine. Made me think a little bit but so many people do have them over here and there hasn’t been an issue in the past.
