Im so tired of the restrictions of poppers or even of talking about them. Like how? Atleast we have this site :-) but i just found out r/popperpigs the main sub reddit for poppers on reddit has been taken down and deleted :-( it had alot of good posts and info nd we culd discuss poppers on thare. But its just soooooo riduclious tht it was taken down wen on reddit u literally have r/drugs r/weed r/herion r/pcp so wut all those acutal and ilgeal drugs and dangerous are fine 2 stay. But no we hav to delete poppers AND since they banned popper porn on like every dam site. Its crazy. The thing they use is tht we "elidgedly" use them in non proper ways, like they dont like how we clean. BUT ITS A FREE COUNTRY !!!!!!! just crazy. And it dose not compare at all of a claim of invaild use of a product but reddit supports and alows acutal drugs to stay on their sites ones tht r ilegal to do or own 100% and some tht have no medical purposes either!!! But its like let us friggin pop in peace ya kno we aint hurting anyone. But anyways ima check some recent posts on here cuz i havent in awhile. Also ill be coming out with another one of my master reviews soon :-) its a good 1 !!!! A great 1!!!! Ill give u 2 juicy hints , 1 . its 30mls and 2. Its IN A METAL FRIGGIN BOTTLE. which in my imho honest opinon is way better and easier to open in times of need wen your hand might be a little wet. I also lost a full 15ml wide mouth amyl bottle cuz the girl i was cleaning with knocked it over. Which sucked. But i still had my everst bottle. Their was a tiny bit left in it like maby 2mls so i just poured it into my everst bottle. Nd ive been chillin with my offical brand jungle juice 30ml black edition. Anyways i love all u guys on here. Ive made friends with some of u ;-) so happy pops 2 all!!! That subreddit was gay. It was full of disinformation. The 'tolerance break' flair was the worst of it. You don't get tolerance. You get a lot of bad compounds floating around in your blood stream gumming up the works until you can metabolize and excrete them which takes weeks. Good riddance!

I tried to spread what I consider the most "accurate" information I could about poppers, based on my personal experience making and using them a lot. I got attacked for doing so.....it doesn't bother me that Reddit took down the thread.

Alkyl nitrites have been made for over 100 years. Amyl nitrite(an alkyl nitrite) was selected as an angina drug back in the 1800s. Presumably it was preferred over the other types because it had a more mild, less toxic effect. Chemists in 1914 tested lots of various brands of AN and pondered why purity levels varied greatly. They used various methods and reagents(alcohols) to try to get to the bottom of the inconsistency. They discovered that when using sodium nitrite and acid, one could get a very pure AN without having to distill it IF the alcohol was extremely pure. Pentanol does NOT stay pure over time.

AN became available by script in 1937 in the USA. In 1960, due to its safety record, it was made available OTC until 1969, when it was put back behind the counter due to recreational use and not primarily safety concerns. Chemicals were easier to get in the 70s and so the birth of poppers happened. There wasn't yet the stigma and laws associated with alkyl nitrites and so businessman exploited an opportunity to market the new product to the rapidly developing gay subculture. Poppers were ideal for men wanting to bottom without the usual fear of pain and rectal trauma. BUT the advent of AIDS in the 80s brought the worst possibilities to the forefront. The perfect storm happened in short order and the stigma began.

LockerRoom in Canada has been in business a long time. They make a well packaged product, mostly amyl/pentyl based, although they are not eager to confirm this. Their product is not the same as Joe Miller's had been up until his death in 2010. It doesn't smell the same. There's no pellet used and it doesn't give the same heady rush. On the plus side, the JJ from Canada lasts a lot longer once opened. With the winds as they are, I'm not sure they will be able to remain in business indefinitely.

The pellet was white, round and looked like activated alumina to me. It mostly absorbs minute traces of water and retains it.

I believe the LockerRoom preservative is EPO....a modified type of linseed oil. If it is, it works amazingly well. I have had my most recent leather cleaners from them open at least 3 weeks and they are still good, with ample potency. Nothing caustic or acidic or off. Just the original odor of sour/linseed oil, although it seems less now.
