I just ordered 2 bottles of Highrise from Europe. It arrived yesterday in th Summer Heat (95 degrees in Southern California yesterday). The postman rang my doorbell at 3 pm and handed me the package after I signed for it. The Box itself was hot to the touch so I immediately opened it and placed the 2 bottles, which were also hot to the touch, in the fridge. Tried them yesterday after a few hours of cooling and settling. Removed from fridge, waited about 30 minutes to avoid condensation damage, and took a few inhales...absolutely zero buzz...NADA...DOA.
As you all might know, Air, Light, Heat and Water are what degrades the products. So, with the Summer heat and the days spent in shipping, just a word of caution! Personally, this is the last time I order OTC. I am going back to the homebrew route for good! By the way, I've seen the previous post regarding home brewing, there is nothing to be worried about... if you have done the proper research, know the procedures and always use caution and safe practices. Better to go that route than to lay out 40 bucks to have products arrive as if they have been on a hot stove top.

Why order pentyl from Europe anyway, when you're free to buy the isobutyl we're all dreaming of over here?

Why "buy the isobutyl", when you can make your own isobutyl, amyl, custom blends, etc...? I dream about alot of stuff, I do not dream about isobutyl.

Cliff is part of the "lets get on an airplane" gang. The basic propaganda idea is everything is crap... apart from USA Joe Miller PWD Rush. It has been going on for years and comes from the UK. Why? nobody knows. Amyl / pentyl / butyl all have their attractions, and their failings. Propyl is unique in having no attractions but plenty of failings. Propyl is all over the UK, so I guess Cliff dreams of pre 2007 when UK poppers were butyl.
Did the heat make the poppers smell vinegary, Chuck?
Oh and there are plenty of things to dream about in California maybe isoboutyl is worth dreaming about in conjunction with one of those dreamy figures. Not half!

hamster,
LOL, yeah and Propyl is so good for your eyesight as well. No vinegar smell, actually easy to inhale. But, absolutely no punch whatsoever. I base that on having used the same vendor and 'Highrise' a couple months ago and it was good Pentyl.
Indeed, California is a bounty, especially this time of year. You can find me down at Mission Beach most weekends and the scenery is so nice! Someone should write a song called 'California Dreaming'...

Wow....least we know that "Locker Room, Ltd." is making and selling at least some good "pentyl/amyl" via European retailers. Something causes some shipments to go bad once they get to the user? I bought a jug of isopentyl nitrite from a factory. Smelled a little fruity when I got it, but within a week it turned to vinegar/dead fish...rotten smell. Perhaps, the vinegar scent indicates it's "isopentyl" and not "pentyl".
