after a fucking awful experience buying poppers from my local sex store and noticing the bottle said 99% alcohol and 1% other with some weird silver JJ sticker on it. i went ahead and bought some from https://usapoppers.com/ and it turned out pretty good. they delivered within a week. haven't tried all the bottles i bought but most of them are isobutyl while the jungle juice platinum is alkyl.
NOTE the shit i bought from the sex store was absolutely awful and felt like they just put rubbing alcohol on the bottle and sold it. it gave me a headache and barely did any relaxing. if you ever see a silver JJ sticker on a popper bottle DO NOT BUY IT

Pure n amyl nitrite, preserved with EPO, is the absolute best popper...and it's NOT legal in the USA to sell without a script. You'll have to find away around the laws. Isobutyl, butyl and isopropyl nitrites are legal as solvents, BUT they are generally NEVER pure enough and they are far more toxic.

My stuff is very pure, I distilled a small batch myself, nothing was left behind. I modified the instructions given significantly to absolutely eliminate the production of the dreaded orange noxious gas. The only problem with my product is that its boiling point is just under 100 degrees so it boils off and causes bottles to leak in the sunlight or even just ambient temperatures in many areas (mine included). If its not kept in a room with good A/C, its not like before its gone or turned into something useless. There seems to be a definitely noticeable color change though so its rather easy to tell if its not good, clear yellow = good, clear = bad.
Nitritespecialist : what is EPO ?

EPO? A shadowy far-right Christian fundamentalist community based in Chile run by Pastor Johannes Abschaum, or Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, or Evening Primrose Oil (used by ladies for unmentionables)

Amyl nitrite has a boiling point around 210 degrees Fahrenheit.

A type of linseed oil that works to neutralize acids.

I believe Locker Room is using it...because the 3 bottles I bought from them...lasted weeks after being opened and exposed to air. A bit of a sour odor, but not too bad.

I was trying to secure a sample of EPO. I am good at getting chemicals because it is my job, tried calling the suppliers, and nobody wanted to help me out. I finally looked up EPO and it is used as the di-electric in condensers which is a high voltage electric component. I saw on a reddit board you can get a capacitor out of a TV or microwave and poke a hole in it, and out will dribble the di-electric. I have not tried to collect the EPO this way yet as I am not sure if it will come gushing out or I will have to crush the condenser with a mallet or something.

Complete BS;
1. the product of interest is NOT a dielectric
2. The desired product is NOT a grease
3. The product intended has NO sour aroma
the dielectric in an electrolytic capacitor is Aluminum Oxide. Poke a hole in one and you can squeeze out the AlO2, but it's a thick paste and won't neutralize acids.
This pearl of wisdom is from a guy who once tried to DRY out his poppers using HOT HANDS packets (which generate heat AND water, only further degrading his poison.
Same guy that recommends drying with a product that will chemically castrate you.
I use what he's talking about (but evidently doesn't understand (no surprise) and can't source. (if I can get some, so can most anybody).
It's a convenient product in that it neutralizes acid like baking soda would, but it dissolves in the popper liquid, thus the preservative (or at least the acid sinking part) is not noticeable to the user.
that's it's major advantage.
the same level of preservation can be had with a combination of baking soda and hisil MS. (the baking soda neutralizes acids, and the high silicone molecular sieve removes water from neutralization.
summary: the stuff is convenient, and can fool a customer into thinking they are getting more liquid, but if you are already getting 3 months of shelf life after opening, it won't extend that any further

The following is in direct opposition to what the Professor(Thomas the disabled, embitter Vet in Nebraskas) has long stated.....that pentyl is more toxic than isobutyl/butyl, which is why he ONLY makes isobutyl/butyl.
The following vendor in Germany backs up what I have long stated, that pentyl is the least toxic of the bunch. Copy and pasted the following from the German vendor selling Locker Room pentyls.
What are the ingredients of poppers
Poppers contain nitrites (alkyl esters of nitrous acid). Depending on where you buy poppers, you have a completely different nitrite in hand and with it very different health risks.
We regularly deal with the ingredients of poppers. On our website there are only poppers with the following Ingredient available as these nitrite is classified by us as less harmful to health:
Pentyl nitrite (CAS 463-04-7): Most of our products contain this nitrite, as Pentyl nitrite is classified as less harmful to health.
Poppers with the following ingredients are NOT available from us as we classify ingredients as carcinogenic, mutagenic or very toxic when inhaled. We clearly distance ourselves from these nitrites and our recommendation to you: Hands off products with these nitrites:
Isopropyl nitrite (CAS 541-42-4): we do not sell these products because inhalation can be fatal.
Isobutyl nitrite (CAS 542-56-3): to be found e.g. in Quicksilver, RAM and Rave. We do not sell
these products as they are potentially carcinogenic.
There are other terms for ingredients that are used:
Amyl nitrite: This is a collective term.
Alkyl nitrite: This is a collective term for isobutyl nitrite, pentyl nitrite, isopropyl nitrite, etc.
We do not recommend poppers with these contents because it is not clear which nitrite is actually contained.
Leather Cleaners are containing the following Nitrites:
Hexyl nitrite (UFI V300-A06S-K00V-G02P): New nitrite from the manufacturer Lockerroom in Canada.
This nitrite is used for some of the 30ml bottles produced by the manufacturer Lockerroom. Same
or less harmful to health like pentyl nitrite. That is why we offer products with Hexyl nitrite as well.
Canadian Pentyl Formula (EC number 951-169-0, RM): New substance from the manufacturer
Lockerroom in Canada, based on pentyl nitrite. This nitrite is also less harmful and is very similar to pentyl nitrite.
Responsible handling of poppers is of great concern to us. We thank you for reading this article careful

I just received my new shipment from this German vendor...4 bottles of JJ Gold and got them to my front door in 3 days to USA. Tested one and it's EXCELLENT, better than the previous shipment...and very very potent ass effects.

Yes the Professor has long been pushing the most TOXIC type of poppers, butyl and isobutyl....always stating that pentyl is just too weak. Only poorly made, impure and degraded pentyl is WEAK, such as the stuff he used to make.
Australia has already decided that ONLY pentyl should be legal OTC, not the types the Professor has always pushed.
The Professor said on Wed, 19 Jul 2023 at 21:16...
Ken,
go ahead and to try to deflect away from your stupid statements about capacitors, with stupid statements about toxicity (in which you were proven wrong YEARS ago; that Amyl ALCOHOL (which will be about 50% of an over-the-counter popper) is MUCH more toxic than butanol or propanol.
anyone who is interested; the popper degrades into the alcohol and a few other compounds. looking at LC50 for the nitrites, they are ALL very close to each other in the toxicity realm. not very toxic at all (which is why they are considered the safest among recreational drugs). but the alcohols (although they also are not immediately toxic to life) vary by toxicity, and of the alcohols, the 5 carbon heavy pentyl and amyl isomers are the most toxic.
Ken knows this, but repeatedly disregards it, like the idiot he assumes his readers are.
A german vendor's opinion doesn't change the published FACTS; anyone can quote anybody about anything. and they'd still be repeating unfounded opinion.
the german tex is not accurate; it's obvious that they don't want to be involved with propyls (for good reason), and I agree that Isobutyl has a nasty aroma when it degrades (making it less comfortable to inhale), but the carcinogenic and mutagenic fear mongering they employ ALSO applies to the Amyl and Butyls, not just the isobutyls.
He's cherry picking, just like Jen does.
The Australian law (that KEN showed NO understanding of when it was discussed here months ago) is also mis-represented by Ken. the TL;DR on that is that yes, Australia took another look at their laws. They decided that, since Amyl nitrite had the most research for safety, it would be considered safe for over-the-counter sales. They didn't ban anything stronger, just made it available by prescription only.
Lastly, on the potency front, I'm not alone in my observation that Pentyl nitrite is too werak to be any fun.
That opinion is shared by, typically, younger or more cardio-vascularly competant people. TO them, it's just a mild warm sensation that fades WAY too quickly.
A healthy person will metabolize Amyl/pentyl much more
The Professor said on Wed, 19 Jul 2023 at 21:21...
quickly than Ken's diseased spleen can.
The 'building with each hit' thing he constantly brags about as a benefit demonstrates this;
Think of it in terms of a bathtub filing up. The inhalation of poppers is the faucet, and your metabolism is the drain.
A healthy person has an open drain; Amyl quickly dissipates and requires an almost constant stream of inhales; the tub won't fill up.
Now look at ken, with his tiny drain, of course each hit builds now, and the tub wil fill; it's all because of his defective drain.
Since he's a toxic narcissist, it's all about HIM and HIS opinion of what is good
The Professor said on Wed, 19 Jul 2023 at 21:30...
Long story short; the village idiot tries again to pull the wool over the eyes of other readers by distracting from his ignorance in one field (chemical sourcing) by repeating a proven lie from his years long sissy fit over his ignorance of yet another field (understanding toxicity).
It is strange to me that someone would so proudly continue to lie about things that are common knowledge, but that's the trap that narcissists get themselves into, It's called 'fear of being ordinary' and typically causes these fools to present themselves as authorities even in the face of discrediting information.
\That's ken to a T
he'd rather continue to 'argue' things he's already been disproven on, as a distraction from his CURRENT idiocies (suggesting people can squeeze acid scavenger liquid from an electronics component).
The Professor said on Wed, 19 Jul 2023 at 21:42...
I can't help but also recognize that Ken started with his typical assertion of dominance, then, when it all falls apart and he's shown to be the know-nothing that he is, he knee-jerk regurgitates disproven ideas from yesteryear, trying desperately to distract people from the fact that he is a compulsive, narcissistic liar.
ken starts with "I'm good at sourcing chemicals, because it's my job" which would grab a readers attention; 'oh boy, this guy really knows his shit'.
Sadly, the rest of his text demonstrates his completely anemic understanding of electronics, chemistry AND the english language, so in that way, it's again nothing new, except further proof that this person has absolutely zero comprehenasion of what is happening to him.
GOod at sourcing chemicals because it's your job? I feel sorry for your employer
