Been having great success with the German method +. Plus is my modification to the method and omg the results are devastating.

One good thing about the LRM I bought 8 months ago. Even though it needed help with washing to keep it smooth it lasted long and even had a moment when it got drastically better.

Now with the German method + the liquid not only holds itself together longer, but actually improves over time. Exact opposite of OTC.

It's only common sense that the German method makes a superior popper. It's all about surface area and the nitrous has nowhere to hide. That pushes the reaction to the right and fortifies the bonds.

Certainly one might believe that its possible that the bond strengthening holds the liquid together longer and the popper is sweet and plenty strong with absolutely zero bad effects.

Muratic acid ends up far superior to HCL acid because I believe the iron impurity further fortifies the molecules.

Using a chilling bath only makes it harder for the reagents to find each other since they are moving so slow.

Finally the best trick is that because the reagents have time to get married together in the fridge the liquid gets more potent and sweeter than ever after a week. That's only common sense I believe since left overs always taste better.

Oh....and he will never freely tell anyone about the additional side effect risk with butyl and isobutyl nitrite. He won't tell anyone that what he's peddling has more side effects than the amyl group - especially when it's not made well and has unwanted impurities. One of his students, Charlie, after following Thomas to the TEE, said he got a bout of extremely low blood pressure with the butyl nitrite Thomas instructed him to make. It's all on HERE....it's public info.

I'm not sure what caused the low BP that I experienced about a month ago from my last batch. It could have been that I didn't neutralize the remaining acid long enough so I was inhaling hydrochloric acid left over from the prep, which is my best guess at this point. It could have been the nitrite, but the cough that I experienced also led me to conclude that it was probably from acid.

Charlie is new to making poppers and so didn't know why the n-butyl nitrite he made caused him to have low BP...and the Professor never forewarned him.

How about the both of you leave us alone and everyone else use my tried and true perfected african method.

Buy three slabs of dry ice at your local Safeway grocery.

Use a large plastic container with side walls like Tupperware.

Take two 8 ounce cups. Half fill one with 5 parts water same 5 parts SN. Take the other and half fill with 2 parts muriatic and 2 parts amyl alcohol.

Drop the first dry ice slab into the Tupperware and pour the amyl muriatic acid mixtire onto that slab.

Stack the second and third slab onto the first and pour the water SN mixture onto that. Sit back and let gravity do the rest.

The professor thinks that the answer is to starve the reaction of energy so that there will be no side reactions.

Both ideas are either under our over thinking the entire thing.

The order of ingredients doesn't change the strength of a bond the strength of a bond is one of the four universal forces and is constant once nitrogen and oxygen bond.

The genius of the African method is that instead of doing the while thing with reaction said size of one drop, it appears the reaction over thousands of drops so there now is thousands of parallel reactions simultaneously.

Instead of taking 3 hrs to make a couple of ounces like the professor or several minutes to make a few mils like nitritespecialist the African method makes for to 8 ounces every half hour or so.

Not a chemist here so some of my methods may sound controversial but one can't argue with more than 13 years of actual experience making over 10,000 brews since Joe miller died.

we came to the same conclusion that NAN is the only popper worth making. that reality cost him his life when he at the end was selling NAN poppers on the sly but got caught.

Bought 8 bottles of joe's poppers from picturebrite and they all had ample effects that build with each inhale and never any off odors or bad side effects. Poured some onto a piece of white paper and the liquid was completely clear indicating total purity. Any nitrite now has a slightly yellow tinge indicating impurities.

Also checked joe's ph and it was 7. none of the OTC stuff ever is ph 7 and that's another deal breaker.
